Admin

New Feature
|As many of you are aware the site went down for over a week not too long ago. Unfortunately when the site goes down we do not have access to users email addresses and no way to contact users to let them know what is happening unless an admin or GM has a player's email address in their personal address book. I have been looking for ways to remedy this situation and think I have found a solution.
Google Docs provides a way to create forms people can fill out and it stores the information in a Google Docs spreadsheet. I have created one of these forms for anyone who wants to sign up for news when there is an outage or other happening on the site. There is a link to this form in the navigation panel on the left, just above where you log out.

Site Back Up
|NextGen is back up.
If anyone is having trouble logging on, please delete your browser cookies and try again. This is usually found under the 'tools' section of your browser.
Please let us know if you're experiencing any issues. We're remedying them as we find them. We know that the chat room isn't working. Bunty will be taking point on bringing that back up.
Thank you to Imajica for the fresh set of eyes! Amazing what a missing or extra '.' (dot) can do in an important file. ...and how impossible it is to see when you've gone a day and a half with no sleep.

Welcome New Folks & City After Folks
|I'd like to take a moment to welcome the most recent additions to Next Gen RPG. Some are Nanowrimo-ers and others are here for the newest Desolation game.
I don't want to take up much of your time, but want to sticky this post for a day or two. Please check out the My Games page, for anyone that is in the City After cast. You can access the link from the upper right of your browser or from the navigation column on the left.

Problem With Tags
|This afternoon I discovered a problem with our tags not working right. This problem caused all tags to be erased in at least three blog entries I'm aware of. While I was able to fix the Author tag I was unable to fix any others as I'm not sure what tags were supposed to be there. This problem should have effected only those pieces created/edited since the upgrade on July 18. If you have created/edited any blog posts on July 19, July 20, or July 21 please check the tags and make sure they are all there.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
