Downtime! This Weekend

I've got good news and bad news and apologies to hand out.
First, my sincere apologies regarding the performance of late on the website. It has been slow and painful and my attempts to get support to pay attention to the problem, were relatively unsuccessful. I really appreciate your patience and minimal complaints through this. Thank you.
The good news is that I finally got someone on the phone tonight, to stay with me and look into the issues that we're having. He was able to tell just how much trouble we've had today and offered to move us to another server.
The bad news is that the site might be down for up to 24 hours while the DNS propagates. I believe they will be moving us at 1AM on Saturday. They will likely send Admelior a temporary link that we can use to bypass the downtime, but getting it out to everyone will be difficult. So, please bear with us through the relocation, and hopefully this will eliminate our host related woes.
In the event you were to do a large update on the site, late on Friday, please make a local copy for yourself. We'll back up the site on our end, but I'd hate for anyone to lose anything.

Yay you!

Wahey! New server! Greater PHP memory limit, I hope? Get to see the modules page perhaps?

Don't get your hopes too high.
We aren't actually upgrading our package, they're just moving us to a faster server reserved for pesky clients.
BUT! Once we're there and assuming we're running more smoothly, I'll let it rest for a wee bit. Then I'll go a begging for extra memory on ONLY the URLs that are affected, which there are only two of. Some sites have reported success in that department when working with their hosts.
On my part, I didn't want to bring up the memory issues, when they were already trying to sell me on an upgrade. An upgrade at the moment just isn't in the budget. Maybe at renewal time if the advertisements and Amazon store fundraisers, do well.
Thanks, China! Fingers

Don't forget! :)
Site might be offline some this weekend until the move goes through.
We're Moved!
I just got confirmation from Admelior, the site was successfully moved.
Yay that. Now, let us hope that it fixes our performance issues.
