CZ: Morgonth

Morgonth
Morgonth is the manifestation of all that is evil. All who are of evil intent answer to him, in one way or another. Even in ages past when he has been destroyed, he reforms in the next age, seemingly with full memory of the past. He is the antithesis of The Chimera, a Hero who is reborn in each age to do battle with him for the fate of the age that follows. History repeats itself and nowhere is this more true than on Cozeroth.
It is impossible to ascribe motives to Morgonth, except in generalities. He revels in war and famine, disease and pestilence. He cares nothing for anyone's moral codes, except how he can use them to his own advantage. Life has no value to him, except in what it can accomplish for him. He feeds on misery and delights in corrupting the innocent, turning them evil, then using them for his own amusement if nothing else, or nothing worse.
In the present age, Morgonth is trapped in a prison of his own making, though how strong the seal is that holds him bound is a subject of much conjecture. When evil things happen, some take it as a sign that Morgonth can still reach through his prison and influence things. Others dismiss this, and the idea of Morgonth himself, as tales told to scare naughty children, or around a campfire, as much in jest as in warning.
The fact of the matter is, the door was sealed, 7 Swords acting as the lynchpins to hold the seal in place. Some of those swords are known to still exist intact. Some are lost, fates unknown. Certainly, if they are all destroyed, Morgonth will be freed from his prison, and woe be to the children of the next age, if The Chimera has not been reborn to meet him in battle.
