Breaking of the World
- The Breaking of the World: The legend of the ending of the last age and what caused the Chimera to go to battle against Morgonth.
- Seven Swords Prison: This is the legend of how the Order of Silver Knights trapped Morgonth after the Breaking of the World.
Legends
- The Chimera: The Chimera is a Hero, simply put. Prophesied and promised, to meet Morgonth in the final battle of each age. Sometimes these battles have been one on one, others he has led all of the free peoples against their enemy. Only the end of the last age is remembered now, and it is mostly regarded as a fable, a myth so long forgotten that most think the story is just an attempt by their ancestors to explain an event they didnt understand, The Breaking of the World.
- Morgonth: Morgonth is the manifestation of all that is evil. All who are of evil intent answer to him, in one way or another. Even in ages past when he has been destroyed, he reforms in the next age, seemingly with full memory of the past. He is the antithesis of The Chimera, a Hero who is reborn in each age to do battle with him for the fate of the age that follows. History repeats itself and nowhere is this more true than on Cozeroth.
Historical Figures
- St. Autrus: The clergyman that founded the first real Church of the light in the town of Lanburg, in The Four Rivers Region. He lived about 200 years ago, and worked tirelessly against a plague that was ravaging the whole region. The people of the Four Rivers named him a saint, and there is an engraved bronze plaque on the cornerstone of the church commemorating his life and great works. The current Pastor, Urnan Schenwar, has no links theological or otherwise to him, though he does spend a good deal of time reading the libraries of memoirs and theological papers Autrus wrote during his life.
- Eeron: The finest Master Bladesmith of the last Age, it was Eeron and his enchanted hammer that forged the Seven Swords that serve as the bolts on the door of Morgonth's Prison. Any blade forged with Eeron's Hammer, is said to be immune to the smallest nick of blade.
- Nidantilius: The most prominent of Elven scribes, and a Sorceror of some repute, Sigils, letters, Glyphs and scrolls were his stock in trade. It was Nidantilius who scribed the scrolls, Glyphs, and wards that were laid upon the Seven Swords, and incorporated into their very essences during their forging.
