Trolls are big, muscular and tough. There ability to recover from incredible injuries is well known and some rumors claim that it is impossible to permanently kill a troll. There is a wide variety among trolls. They are all more or less bipedal, two arms, two legs, one head. There are stories of trolls with extra limbs, but they aren't particularly common.

For the troll on the Battlefield, think LotR's cave troll. He has some extra fingers, but no other oddities. It is also wearing battered metal armor, courtesy of the Anaheer military.
