ZP - Boston's Seedy Apt Scene - April 7th

"Where do you want to meet?" He asked her. He wondered at the significance of the vacated apartments.

"Back at the scene of the crime.  We'll exchange some information and decide where to go from there."  Agent Showalter seemed a little terse in her comments.  Just before she abruptly hung up, Brice could hear Jahck in the background saying that what he saw was amazing, almost real.  Brice could probably guess at what he was feeling.  She had used her power on him and he probably witnessed the crime or beforehand.

The pine shaped air freshener swung around as Brice navigated the streets on his way back to the apartments.

2011: Creatures of the Night, Part 1

 “There you go, Madison.“

The body was past the rigor mortis stage and so it was supple as Michael Carman removed it from the bag. It was a good looking corpse; young with no signs of trauma. That would make the job easier. If he were merely to add a little color to the dead flesh she would be presentable enough for viewing.

He would have to open up the mortuary’s entire public area to handle the mourners. Young corpses drew big crowds and Madison Whit would be no exception. Michael had met her years before, but he didn’t really remember the occasion. She was just a child then and she blended in with all the other noisy little screamers at the church picnic.

ZP - Burwell And Growing

When Tucker and Vesper arrived in the small town, the sign read, Welcome to Burwell.  Population 1210 and growing.  Someone is changing the sign even as they are arriving.  The final number is being replaced by a 5.  There is a stack of numbers on the ground.  The man changing the sign looks over his shoulder at them and gives a chin up as a greeting before returning to his work.

ZP - Thailand Traveler

He examined the television as he adjusted the dish. The patterns of the static seemed to make a sort of sense to him. He adjusted the angle several more times and he had it perfect.

"There you go." He said as he backed away from the dish.

"Amazing!" the peddler exclaimed.  He looked at the cables and inspected all the items at hand.  "Just Amazing.  What can I do for you to reward for this service?  All those little actions really add up."  With the satellite operational, his equipment more than just paperweights.  A few of the locals stop nearby to examine his wares.

Noi came back near with a long scarf around her neck with many bright colors, "Were you able to help?"

Donations Appreciated

I feel kind of silly writing this, certainly didn't think that after all of this time and good intentions of coming back, that the first contribution I would have would be soliciting for donations.  ...BUT...  This is exactly what I'm doing.

I have paid the last couple of months hosting and it runs $20 a month.  I really don't mind doing this from time to time, but it's been a while since we've had a contribution and I thought I'd put a shout out to see if maybe I could stir up some funds.

Return to Maybell Colorado - Age of Heroes: Page 9

It took less time to return to Maybell than to reach Craig. The rain was almost completely gone but the clouds were still thick in the sky, though they were white and not the dark gray they had been a while earlier. The sun peeked out now and then as the group moved from hilltop to hilltop.

As the group got closer the giant mirror in the sky appeared larger and larger. There were now helicopters hovering around it and a long train of vehicles, mostly military, heading towards Maybell and its newest attraction.
