I had problems selecting a picture for this.  Firstly, I don't really like uploading photos for characters.  I'd rather describe a character well and leave any ambiguity up to the imagination of others.  However, I do so as I realise its convention in pbem games these days and some people like a visual reference.  I never (intentionally) select actors.  My second problem was that I felt it was disrespectful to use actual images of people who have had any sort of extensive facial scarring for something as trivial as a roleplaying game.  I would've drawn a picture and scanned it in, but that would look inconsistent since the other character portraits are photographs.  Luckily, I found this excellent photoshopped image that is much like what I had in mind.  Tough looking, not Holywood and glossy but still (I would argue, more) attractive while being clearly damaged.  So many thanks to 'aseptyczny' on Flickr for uploading it!

I wanted an image to show Aurora smiling, she's more easy-going, at least on the surface, than this image suggests.   Lets assume this picture was taken during or shortly after her ordeal in a Gulag-like prison camp.
