I found myself stopping about half way through, when you had me thoroughly in love with Jenny Pate, and thinking what I would do to you if you killed her off.

Well, except for the lasers. And all the swearing. And I don't care what anyone says, Shirley Temple was no child prodigy. Actually it's nothing like a Shirley Temple movie.
This was wonderful (of course) and full of great details. My favorite line was “That one is worth ten dollars. Daddy uses it a lot. A lot!” It's the second "A lot!" that gets me. I totally picture this wide-eyed kid trying to convey the enormity of Daddy saying a bad word.
