And he's been interviewed by "a nice, if somewhat libelous, young lady from Sandlewood High" for her high school paper. She was doing a piece on crime in the Freetown area, and having been told about Ardent's discovery there (and subsequent awakening) by her aunt - an ER nurse for the hospital who Was There The Night He Was Born - she tracked Ardent down to the library in hopes of getting his rather unique (and to her disappointment, very sketchy) take on the history of the area.

She ended the piece with "...and for a dead man, he was kind of cool.", thus beginning the rumors of Ardent's undead status and earning her a ding 'round the ear if he ever runs into her again.
