New York Knights is a four-color supers game running under the HERO 5th edition game system.  It will start as soon as the players are lined up and their characters squared away.

Submissions should include a background and character sheet using the following guidelines:

Background

• Background story (more is better - I tend to toss less than a couple of paragraphs)
• Personality
• Appearance
• Description of powers

 I'm just curious if anyone out there is a fan of the Chronicles of Amber and would consider a game?  I've run several FtF games, some lasting years, mostly in the DRPG, though I did one in Hero.  I've also played in a few PBEM versions, but that medium was slow.  I haven't thought about it in a while, but I might be interested in running a game here (though I would definitely prefer playing in one).

The reanimation of Next Gen is one of the best gifts I got this year.  I'm looking forward to ICONS, Urban Fantasy, Tabula Rasa, and New York Knights getting going in the new year and bringing more good times.

I've had the idea for a possible new game if there is enough interest. It would be an urban fantasy game with the characters just learning there is more to the world than they ever dreamed of.

Characters will have minor talents which will be unknown to them at the start of the game but players will be able to make suggestions on what they would like to see.

If there is enough interest I'll flesh the idea out a bit more and send out a casting call.

I'm going to reorganize the forums this weekend. I think they're a bit sprawling for the amount of actual traffic they see, so I'm going to try to simplify a bit. Nothing will be deleted, but a lot of stuff will be pushed under an Archived Topics rug.

I think I'm going to (after hemming and hawing over it the last three years.) Got an idea I think I can get 50,000 words out of....gonna spend some time this weekend plotting it out, possibly trying the snowflake method.

It's in the JPAT universe, so I may post it here when it's done.
