Conquistadors
Welcome to the Conquistadors - Where the DiSantiagoes, one of Hudson City’s most elite families, meet the world of super heroes and villains. This is a rich game of high society politics, where the powerful family begins the most exciting charitable endeavor that the city has ever seen. The story begins as they launch the first super powered crime fighting team to delve into the criminal activity of one of the world’s most crime infested cities.
As the story unfolds, and the heroes win the affection of the populace, questions arise that suggest the very family that sponsors them, might be entrenched in the scourge that they’re working against. Egos and powers collide as the devil be damned DiSantiagos try to control the force that they created. Please join us as the talented cast members tell their story!
I'd like to dedicate this game to Andy Matthews aka Koslov, a long time friend and fellow gamer. He was the player that originally talked me into running this campaign again, and played a major part in getting her up and running. Sadly he passed away on December 2nd, 2008. He will be sorely missed as both a friend and a part of our cast. This is my small way of acknowledging how important he was to this game and to his fellow gamers.
As of October 5th, 2009, Hero Games has set up a memorial fund for Andy to help out with the education and health care of his two boys.

The Story
Side Stories- This section is dedicated to character fiction pieces that occur before the start of the game. It is organized by character.
Prequels- This section follows the very beginnings of the Conquistador campaign, even though the team hasn't been made a reality yet. This is where our heroes find their voices and have an opportunity to make some friends and enemies to send them on their way.
Pre-quistadors - This section is dedicated to the making of the Conquistador team. Follow as Ophilia DiSantiago takes on the task of gathering her team of glamorous heroes. Struggles abound in the process, and more than once the team nearly died before it could be born. Follow along as members were recruited, tenuous bonds were formed and the DiSantiago family name tried to snake thier way into the core.
Season One - This section begins on January 1st, 2009. It follows the Conquistadors from their very first staff meeting, through the trials and tribulations of becoming a team. It challenges the very notion of becoming a team. Can the cereal box heroes be turned into a team by the infamous Soldier Boy, and does Nemesis really have what it takes to lead them? Is Hudson City ready to embrace the team or will they wear out their welcome before they get off the ground?
