Doctors Without Borders Haiti Earthquake Response
Wed, 01/20/2010 - 05:35
What has happened in Haiti has prompted a massive response from the gaming industry. Lead by the folks at Fat Dragon Games, RPGNow / Drivethrurpg have assembled what they call a mega-bundle. For a $20 donation to Doctors Without Borders and their efforts in Haiti, you receive an unbelievable quantity of stuff.
If you've got $20 to donate, go here: http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=78023&SRC=haiti
There's about 180 items in this bundle ranging from adventures to full RPGs (Now's the time to start playing Apocalypse Prevention, Inc.) to supplements, boardgames - just tons of stuff.
As of now (0930 GMT) they've raised over $5,000 from this bundle.

Thanks for the heads up! Sounds like a great effort for a great cause!
Temporarily down. As of almost 11am, the site is down. Hopefully they're being overwhelmed with responses. I'll try again laters.
I've been at this all day. So far I've downloaded 45 out of the 180 files you get for your $20 and that's just shy of 500 meg of gaming goodies.
There's full games in there, adventures, terrain sets, supplements for almost every genre you can think of. It beggars belief that these companies have done this. All credit to the companies involved.
They say the retail value is over $1400, and last I looked, they've raised almost 12k.
That's very exciting!
Just picked it up myself, although I'll be nice and wait until the weekend to start my downloading.
At last check, they've raised more than $23K. That is just downright awe-inspiring.
Now that they took away the downloading of products, temporarily cuz of server overload, you can get to their site again. :)
This is incredible. No wonder they're suffering from server problems!
They're up to $56,500.
Over $83,000 now.
