Broken pages
Sun, 07/25/2010 - 16:49
I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but the left hand menu is at the bottom of every page when I log in. When I'm annonymous everything is where it should be but as soon as I log in the menu breaks.
I don't have the time to find the problem right now because of my limited access or I would fix it. The first time I logged in everything looked fine but now it's messed up so it has to be something that was added after I left. The computer I'm using right now has IE 6 on it, (YUCK!!!).
It may just be an IE 6 issue in which case I won't be able to fix it even after I get home as I don't have IE 6.

No issues here, yet.
I'll take a look as well and see if I can find a post that might be the culprit. Has to be one that is front paged, if my thinking is correct.
I should have time for this tomorrow, methinks.

KL, I think that it might be this post causing the breakage. (Issue One: Alpha)
The code looks very clean and pretty, but it utilizes mostly <div> instead of <br>s like the editor might prefer.
I think if I replace the <div>s with an extra <br> it might fix it. ...but I'm not at full strength, and we all know how I break things when I'm not running at 100%.
I can't get the problem to surface on my puter, but I know I'm running a newer version of IE. My parents are the only one with IE6 and I won't be getting there until maybe next weekend.
The <div>s are the culprits. Those will break the page for someone almost every time, along with <span> and <p> tags. I knew what the problem was but I'm using a public computer to access the site and the session is timed so I didn't have time to find the offending post.
