Here's the issue.  I tried both in my admin account and in my regular account, and in two different galleries (An old one and a new one, just to make sure I hadn't messed up permissions or some such.)

Everything works fine until I save.  Upon saving no image shows up and I get this error.

  • Unable to create scaled Thumbnail image.
  • The selected file /home/nexttho3/public_html could not be copied.

Me too

I'm seeing the "Unable to create scaled Thumbnail image." message at the top of every page.

Haven't tried to create content yet. This shows up on each page while I'm browsing the site.

Me too!  I thought it was just a 'me' issue since I tried to create an image.  Good to know it's affecting everyone.

Imajica said he'll look into this morning (his time) if it's still an issue.  He's hoping it's an image path or module, but will know more once he digs into it.  If it turns into something that needs to be installed on the server, then the issue might persist until we can do that.

Sorry, getting this sorted is more than I can get done tonight. I'm in over my head. Hopefully this is one of those things that Imajica only needs 14 seconds to do.

Actually it's only occurring on pages that have images. If you go to a page that doesn't have an image included it doesn't give the error and on the pages with images it gives it once for every image so on some pages you might see one line and on others four or five.

Should be fixed

The image issues should be fixed. PHP wasn't set up to use the built in image manipulation. I think I've got everything fixed now.

Three Cheers!

Woot!

Thanks KL.  No more error messages and i was able to upload a pic.

Thanks so much.  I wouldn't have had the firstest clue where to look for that.

I'll let Imajica know that it has been resolved.

For anyone that has uploaded a picture with no result, please go back in, click the edit tab and browse again for your image.  Then save, and it should fix the issue.  And I'm sorry for the image breakage.

Thanks KL!

Just to increase my knowledge, what did you do? (If it can be easily explained.)

I had to recompile PHP with support for image manipulation.

Which, is something totally

Which, is something totally on the back end, Bunty.  No amount of searching w/i the site would have fixed this.

KL had to go into the scary server cPanel and do this work.
