problem with theme

Well here's a wacky one. I was getting 503 errors on every page I tried to load...except the admin console. I changed the default theme, and no more 503s.
This is over my head.

It wasn't the theme, I think those 503 errors are caused by our spam blocker. Something in Drupal seems to occasionally trigger it but I haven't figured out what. If you get that again leave the site, clear your cookies, then return. It should clear it.
In the meantime I'll continue to try to figure out what's triggering it so I can stop it. I'll also look for a different solution for keeping the spammers out.
