What the **** is going on with my log-in? I found myself logged out of the system today, and when I tried to log in, I got an error message telling me that "Sinanju" was assigned to a restricted email address and could not log in.

Fixed

The email address you used for the Sinanju account has a similar format to a lot of spammers we've been getting. When I set up an access rule to keep the spammers out I inadvertently blocked your account as well.

I've fixed it so the email address you used is exempted from the access rule so you should be able to log in with that account again.

Sinanju, Can you confirm

Sinanju,

Can you confirm that this has cleared up the problem?

I had the same problem with my main email address and I thought it was because I had used the same email for more than one account.  I had Bunty go in and change one of the emails and it cleared it up for me...but if it was an access rule, then I might be able to go back to the other email addy.

Let us know.

And thanks to KL for resolving this so quickly!

Yay!

Good that!  We really are sorry, you were a casualty of a new access rule to help us cut down on spammers.  I was also a casualty with my email address, you can imagine my horror when I couldn't log in to either of my accounts.  Smile

You shouldn't be affected again.
