Welcome to our new home!

I know China just sent out a critter call that invited everyone to test the site and give feedback, but I think it would be a better use of everyone's time and energy to wait a bit before doing that. What we've got right now is just a bare bones site. Obviously a lot of things don't work right, or don't look right. No need for us all to spend time pointing out the obvious. Soon -  hopefully no more than a week from now - the site will be much much closer to what we want it to be. That's when the testing and feedback will really be needed.

Til then, general thoughts and suggestions are most welcome. What do you want to see from this site? What tools do you want?

And if anyone has some free time and useful skills, please speak up! There's a lot of work to be done, and the more we can spread it out the better.

We Need a New Banner!

We need a new banner, or several to cycle through.

The idea is to have something that isn't genre specific.  Something that highlights multiple genres (fantasy, supers, sci-fi, pulp, western, horror, etc.).  Or something....that highlights the current games...  I dunno.  If you have an idea, I'd be open to it.

But right now, if someone comes to our site, we appear to be a super hero specific gaming site.

If anyone would like to help put together a banner, we'd love to use it.  Anyone that submits one will see it in use, for at least a day, and if someone submits one that works for us, we'll use it full time or for advertising.  Our theme is the burgandy and black...so if you're interested in helping, try to keep it consistent with the theme.

So, if you have any ideas, please please throw something together and pass them on.  We'd appreciate any help and talent that might be lurking out there.

Just be sure not to break any copyright laws.

Translation...

I'm after an original graphics file.  Whatever program was used to create the banner logo would have used layers, it's own font system, that sort of thing - large file size, lots of information.  The one on the site is the flattened, exported version - much smaller file size, much less information.

Gotcha

Gotcha.  Gotcha.

Bunty, might have that, since he's the one that put together the original.  I'll see if he can get that to you.

Thanks!

Vote for Us

We've been getting a good percentage of our targeted hits from a website called RPG Gateway.  We're like one of a bazillion links on the site, but somehow people are clicking through to us from there.

They work on a rating system, and put the most frequented and highest rated sites at the top.  If any of you would like a low effort way to help the site, it would be great if you could vote for us.  Votes are allowed once per day.  I plan on adding a button, but there aren't any that I like, so until I do, here's the link.

Thanks a bunch for any of you that find the time to participate!

Thanks for the votes!

Regarding this, they reset their counts every 3 months so that new sites can have a fair chance with their rating system.  So if anyone is looking at it and thinking of how dismal my silly little goal it...  *grin* ...that might help.
