Hello. I'm new. And I don't like coming up with subject titles.
I am a long time role player (both at the table and online) and am looking forward to trying this place's funky style. Once I figure out how the hell is works. I've been lurking around the site reading the FAQ and forum posts for about 30 minutes now. I think I am starting to pick it up.

Welcome. Spend a lot of time with the faq, it'll help you navigate the website. Once you get into the groove, take a look at the campaigns and see if there's anything that trips your reading trigger. Once you get caught up on the multitude pf game moves and side fiction pieces you shoul get an idea on how the games work around here.
If you ahve any questions, we're more than willing to answer them as they come up. You can send private messages to just about anyone and expect a decent response. The following users are the most knowledgeable (as most are admins, or long time members): Chariman, Bunty (or Captain Bunty), Heatwave, Admelior, Thrakazog, Torchwood, myself, and a whole bunch of others I've most likely forgotten. :) you can find a number of us weekdays in the chatroom, stop by and say howdy!
I'll second what Darren had to say. I don't know of any games with openings at the moment but almost all of them welcome guest shots so find one you like and contact the GM.

Just throw me a PM (Chairman) and I'll set up a time to give you a quick tour/tutorial (about five-ten minutes) and it'll have you up to speed. It's way easier than all those faq pages might make it look like. I swears.
If you're interested in running a game, do check out the 'how to GM' section of the faq. GM commitment is taken pretty seriously here (says a GM that really needs to put out a move.)

lol. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it has nothing to do with nachos. I know that's hard to believe.
