Ello everyone. I migrated over with the rest of my flock from Roleplaygateway but we got lost and I had to go all Donner Party on them. I hope I can figure this place out before it drives me insane (much perusal of the FAQ is in order) and Uh, I hope I can join a few roleplays. Toodle-oo.
Also, the rich text editor changes the drop down menu to a three sectioned cut/copy/paste and doesn't allow my dictionary extensions on Chrome to work. I'll live though.

What happened with RolePlay Gateway? I'm not overly familiar with the site, but I've checked it out on several occasions. Does your 'flock' have a game that they need to port over here? Or are you just looking for a game to participate in? I'm happy to help if I can.
Our style of play is a bit different. Like RP Gateway, we focus on the stories and do strive for games that can host a good read for those that want to follow along. ...but, we aren't a play by post/forum. Instead, each game move is a single document, that each player edits. It's like a living breathing compile, or imagine if everyone edited the original forum post, instead of attaching their posts to the bottom.
This is fairly simple, mechanically. It just requires clicking on edit at the top of a game move, finding the place you want to add, adding and then saving. ...getting used to sharing the spotlight, and finding a rhythm with your writing partners in the game is where the biggest adjustment comes into play.
I'm not sure that I understand your issue with the editor and Chrome. Our technical guru is on vacation as of today, so if your problem persists and becomes annoying, do bring it up again and we'll see if we can help. There is a built in spell checker in the top row, it appears as an 'ABC with a green checkmark under it'. And if you use Firefox, we have a feature that underlines misspelled words.

I'm not sure what problem you're having with the editor in Chrome, I personally use the plain text editor, and will have to play with it when I get home. I have very limited internet access at the moment so I can't do any trouble shooting.

No, I downloaded an extension for chrome that allows me to press ctrl and highlight a word and it gives me a definition. The rich editor doesn't allow it to work.
Nitpicking aside, thank you for the warm welcome and if there are any open roleplays that haven't gotten too far off the ground yet I'm always open.
