Just wanted to let everyone know of a couple of editor changes.

The first was needed in order to get the editor to save changes made to content. Image browser had to be removed from the editor. This means for the time being the only option to include pictures is by using Image Assist. The only downside to this is you will have to right click the image and choose how to align the text as a separate step. The upside is Image Assist allows you to add an image to the proper gallery when you upload it and defaults to showing the images uploaded under your account. This make it a lot easier to find the images later. You can also browse the images by gallery so if you want to use an image uploaded by someone else all you need to know is which gallery it is in and it will be easy to find.

The second change was one that was not required but we have discussed doing in the past and this was the perfect time to implement it. The editor no longer recognizes any formating on the text prior to it being pasted in. This means if you want something in bold or italicized you will have to add those after the text has been pasted into the editor they will not carry over when pasted.

This change was not done to inconvenience, and I apologize for any it may cause, anyone but it was needed in order to prevent extraneous code from being inserted into pages and breaking the formating for some people. The built in function of the editor to strip out that code is limited to only working properly with Microsoft Word and with the increase of people using other word processors, such as OpenOffice.org and Google Docs, that solution was no longer effective.
