New Moderation System

Due to the spam that's been getting through our filters lately we've implemented a new moderation system on the site where the first post of new users must be approved before it will show up.
This should not affect our current users but if I missed giving someone permission and your post doesn't show up right away, don't worry. We will be checking the moderation queue daily and will be assigning the correct permissions to anyone who is making legitimate posts.
This is only to weed out the people who only sign up so they can spam us and are missed by our spam filter and I apologize in advance if I missed giving the correct posting privileges to anyone.

but I'll miss the Russian porn spam. There's something poetic and beautiful about those big blocks of cyrillic and english phrases.

Yay! No more culling users over my morning coffee!
We'll still need to delete the spam comments so they don't take up room in the database and we'll need to block the idiots but it won't be something we have to police every day.
