My apologies for the recent incidents of spammers on the site.  Of late the administrator's haven't been able to be on the site as frequently as in the past, which means we can't delete the spam before anyone else sees it. 

Until we can get our spam blocker back up and running, I've switched membership so that an administrator has to approve it before they can post.  I loathe doing this, as it goes against the open spirit that the administrator's are striving for, however until we get our defenses back up or I can be more active, this will be our temporary solution.

When I deleted some of the recent spam messages, replies to those messages were automatically deleted.  This wasn't intentional on my part, I wasn't trying to erase or not respond to the complaints that were made in response to the spam messages.  Nimbus' in particular made me laugh (blue pills for the men on your Christmas list and Bras for the Women @ Nestor).  It's just the nature of the forum, all replies to a message are deleted when the message is deleted.

So, anyways.  Nuff said.  KL is completely on top of the issue and will remedy it when her schedule permits.  We have to understand and fix why it was blocking a certain server before we resume using the spam blocker.
