This writer has her own listserv. She asks people to send her ideas and writing prompts, and sends out a new short story every month.

Here's an interesting site that robo-analyzes writing samples and gives you feedback on your style, grammar, word choices and spelling. It's geared towards school papers, so take its auto-recommendations with a grain of salt if you feed it your fiction.

That is so cool!  ...but I'm way to scared to feed a piece to it that I'm proud of.  :)

I pasted in one of my

I pasted in one of my stories, and wasn't super-impressed with the feedback. Still, it gave me something to think about. It really is geared towards school papers, and if you write in a minimalist or Chadler-esque style you'll get scolded.
