Sure, you guys get all the good stuff first. But we've got Doctor Who!
I have to have me this series!
I only watched the pilot. ...and I loved the idea of it, but it had a hard time keeping my attention. I'm thinking about getting it though, because I wonder if I might like it better, if I watched several episodes.
Sometimes pilots can be rough when they're trying to lay out so much and everyone is finding their voice and rhythm.
Dr. Who, indeed. :) I'm jealous!
The reviews for this one say that it takes a few episodes to find its feet but then it turns into a superb series. Apparently.
3 new Doctor Who episodes this year... Waters of Mars next then the 2-parter at Christmas when the Master returns! Yay!
And Being Human.

(I'm gonna buy this series one of these days. Well, the Doctor Who ones, not sure what all the spin offs are, 'cept for Torchwood, which I do watch.)
It was a decent show and, yes, does get better in the second half after the Cabal are introduced. At the end of the series it almost turns into the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with "infamous" characters - known as the Five - turning up from the past. Certainly an interesting show given the lack of budget and worth watching.
Though it's not as good as Doctor Who. Or Being Human. :) (But better than Merlin - which returns this week)
I notice the DVDs are available to preorder here in the UK too but come out about a month after they do in the US. Unfortunately, price-wise, it looks like they just replaced the dollar sign with a pound sign - it's just under 26 quid!

Woah. That's serendipitious.
My wife and I are just working our way through a borrowed copy of Season 1 and I was telling her we should get our own copy plus a copy of Season 2.
Thanks!
Edit: Just placed the order. Yogurt for everyone!
I bought my Dad Season One for his Birthday, almost 30 bucks. Now I want season two...but don't wanna buy them both.
But it's a good deal for sure, especially with the free super saver shipping. I always miss the good deals.
And the series really is neat, I tried hard not to like it and the damn thing kept sucking me in.

BTW, in case you're interested, China, they're releasing paperback novels based on Burn Notice.
My wife got the first two from the library and they're pretty good reads.
very interesting!
Yay! Bones! Angel getting fatter and older!
This is one of those that some people love and others thought was slow to start and boring.
Personally, I'm a fan and since it's on it's second season, I think it's worth posting.
