Right.  Needed the shelf space and I've got all of these (bar 1, I think) electronically.  5 minutes with the scanner should fix that.

There's an auction on ebay.co.uk right now for 12 Hero books:

  • Hero 5th Edition Revised
  • Monster Island
  • Urban Fantasy Hero
  • The Ultimate Mystic
  • Materminds and Madmen
  • Champions
  • Star Hero
  • Hero System Equipment Guide
  • Spacer's Toolkit
  • Character Creation Handbook
  • Thrilling Places
  • Pulp Hero

Given the weight involved, I'm not going to be shipping this to the US.  Unless, of course, one of you makes me an offer!

These books are mint, been read through once each and then put back on the shelf for the day when I'll need them.  So far, that day hasn't come and the shelf is getting crowded.

The link is here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260422698640

Just thought I'd give you a heads up, folks!

So how much would it cost to ship those to the US?  I'm not sure I can put the money together, but I know I'd love to get them.  : )

Shipping to the US

I've just done a check on the ParcelForce website.  It says £50 to ship!!!  Ouch!  I wouldn't charge you all that!

I'll check with the Post Office here on Monday, see what they say.  Problem is books are heavy.

Yep, that is the major

Yep, that is the major problem.  Which I understand.  More a dream than a likely reality. : )

You'll be amazed to know that

You'll be amazed to know that these books didn't shift on eBay.  People apparently don't want to buy job lots of them.

So I'm open to offers from both at home and abroad.  Shipping to the UK will, obviously, be cheaper and quicker but I'll investigate shipping options to the US if people are interested.  From the original list, I'm looking to keep Urban Fantasy Hero but the rest are fair game.

Bit late to this thread... Are you still trying to get rid of them in one lot? I *might* have been interested in one or two of these - depending on price of course. Smile (Urban Fantasy Hero might have been one I was interested in, mind you)

I might have to check out the ebay link at home, if it still works (not allowed to look at ebay here at work).

The eBay auction closed some

The eBay auction closed some time ago now but ff you're still after the lot, make me an offer!  For a job lot sale I could be persudaded to part with Urban Fantasy Hero (and get the PDF from the proceeds of the sale...)

Unfortunately, as mentioned, I'm only interested in a very small number of the individual items (eg. the Ultimate Mystic). I already have a number of the other items on your list - including the big Green Man book which is probably the most expensive, and heaviest.

Just to say that I've now got

Just to say that I've now got the two HERO books from Imajica. They actually arrived outside my house on Monday but, as no-one was in and the package was too big for the letterbox, the postie took the parcel back to the delivery office. I only managed to get it back yesterday (stupid delivery office opening times).

Anyway, the books are in very good condition - they look brand new - and everything is present and correct. So thank you Imajica! Hopefully, the Miracleman TPB I'm selling will pay for them. Wink

Very glad they arrived safe

Very glad they arrived safe and sound - doubly so that you're happy with the condition.  Got to say that gaming books tend to fall into 2 categories for me - either pristine and hardly used (usually because I've a PDF that's putting in the miles) or stripped of their bindings and put into a 4-ring binder for safe keeping.
