I'm sure that Dave will forgive me for posting this for him, but he's been dealing with a death in his immediate family.

Many of you already know this from his facebook statuses, but anyone that doesn't, please extend him every patience and courtesy at this time.  He has had a lot on his plate this past week.

As she mentioned, at least a few of you know my mother passed away just shy of two weeks back. She'd had a laundry list of medical conditions, including life-long heart problems (artificial valve, pacemaker), lung problems, and a variety of -itises, -omas and -isms. For the past several months she'd been dealing with a fairly serious knee injury, as well, and I'm sure the delicate balance of medication she was taking as well as the overall physical discomfort of her injury compounded the stress on her body, and it's likely her heart simply gave out (we passed on an autopsy).

I appreciate your patience with me thus far. Having dealt with the funeral, the family and the initial stages of "estate resolution" (or whatever the hell they call it), I'm trying to get some sense of normalcy back.  I'll be trying to catch up with all games in the very near future, I assure you. The hardest part is getting myself going every day, so please bear with me if it takes another day or three to get to everything.

With that said, though, trust that we'll have as much patience as you need.  

If you need any help with catching up, let me know.  ...but I think you'll find that you aren't very far behind.  Most of the games have been running at a slow pace the past few weeks.
