TCQ: About the Game
Game Advisory
I wanted to make the game advisory available in the forum, to save people the trouble of reading along if it's not your 'thing'.
Advisory: This game will deal with the darker side of life, subjects such as drugs, child/spousal abuse, prostitution, pornography and other dismal scenes will come into play. Some themes that players might find touchy include sexual and religious perversions as well as unsavory language. For the most part this will be a rated NC-17 game, but side fiction pieces may well go beyond that, but will not be posted to the main game file. If this type of dark subject matter is offensive to you, as a reader, please don't apply to this game.

Real Life History of the Conquistadors
In 2001, I was involved as a player in a face to face version of The Conquistador campaign. The GM, who I will refer to as MM, was one of the most dynamic theatrical GMs and completely rocked the house with this game of family intrigue and Superheroic action. When I moved from the midwest and lost my gaming group, I decided to use elements from his campaign and see if I could get it to fly over a text based medium.
In 2003 I started a PBEM campaign called the Conquistadors in the Global Guardians Universe. Due to some real life issues I abandoned the game after about 6-12 months, before it was fully brought to life. The players had such a tremendous amount of passion and energy for the campaign that they sustained it for well over a year after I left.
About a year ago, I came back on the scene and promised that I wouldn't start a game again until I was sure I was over my real life funk. So, it's been over a year and I've decided to revive this old campaign because, I have a lot of energy and vision for it. ...and it's just one of those things that I need to see with a beginning, middle and some sort of end.
Despite the fact that this was an old game, this will be a complete reboot. None of the previous history will remain...it will be completely fresh. The things that will remain though are the founding family and ideas that were used to bring the game to life in my 2003 text based version.
Conquistadors went live in it's second incarnation at Lost Coast Gaming on September 1st, 2008. The cast, made almost entirely of returning players from my previous campaigns, made a very enthusiastic debut. The game was so active, as a matter of fact, that we outgrew our home at LCG rather quickly.
January 5th, 2009...Game play for the Conquistador campaign resumes at www.nextgenrpg.com.

As I update my wiki and go through all of my old stuff, I realize how much of it is/was contributions from other people. I wanted to take an opportunity to mention that and say Thank You. Nearly all of the contributions are being used with permission and blessings, all but those that I simply can't remember who gave them to me.
If they have an account here, I'll use their handle, other wise I'll just use initials. If I missed you, just let me know. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the help!
Family Contributions: Koslov, MM

Campaign Page: Alot of this stuff was modeled from Worldmaker's GGU pages. I think I took some if from Thrak's campaign from back then as well.
