5-6 players set in San Fransisco. Premise much the same as the JSA with heroes either the lingering (yet vital) original members or legacy heroes striving to live up the mantle.

If I wasn't already in three

If I wasn't already in three games I'd take you up on it. Hope you get lots of interest.

I love a good heroes game,

I love a good heroes game, and by far we've had the most enthusiasm so far in our recruitment efforts, for the Hero games.  I think KL had 14 submissions.

A lot of people already on the site might be tapped out, but I'm happy to help you recruit off site if you decide to run a game.

We'd chatted briefly about the possibility of sharing a universe, I don't have a preference one way or the other on that.  But, it might encourage or discourage interest if you decided to share a world with an existing game, like TCQ.

I reserve the right to change my mind like the wishy wash gal I am...but I think I'm too tapped out at the moment to apply.  I'm kinda saving a spot for an off genre game like a space opera or a western or something like that.

Well, I'm technically in

Well, I'm technically in three games, but considering the speed they update (I keed! I keed!), I think I could manage one more.

I'm assuming Hero for the system? Will combat be rules-intensive, or more free-form as it seems to be the flavor around here?

In case it needs to be said, I like the free-form style. My one experience with rules-intensive PbP gaming caused one combat to run for more than one month. Shock

A month!  That's like the speediest text based combat ever!  Smile  I mean for a whole team, that's super fast.

TCQ hasn't really been in a big combat yet, but I will use rules when that happens.  But only for the big stuffs, ya know.  Joint posts can be mostly willy nilly.

Yeah, I would love to run it

Yeah, I would love to run it in the TCQ universe, set on the other coast of course.  Although, having a side story or two where say Raven jumps to the West Coast to do something as a crossover would be neat.  It would of course have to be OK'd.

Can I start to put together a precis for a Casting Call?  I think with all our new members and lurkers we might have enough interest, even if the old hands are tapped out.

Ok, I'll bite.

What is a JSA?

Why isn't the word 'phonetic' spelled the way it sounds?

I swear I won't be as control freakish as I am with Hudson City and my PCs.  I can't help that.  I think as long as we stick with the established Champions Universe, and make sure to inform each other and agree on any additional world elements, we should be fine.

No running plots by me, or anything of that nature, unless it has the possibility to be world effecting or somehow mess with my little piece of the gaming world pie.

Yes.  You're welcome to get your campaign information started, casting call and what not.  But I JUST ok'd someone else making a game call.  He plans on doing it tomorrow.  ...so if you could wait till his submissions have closed, I'd really appreciate it.  I think it's beneficial for everyone.  It helps make sure that players don't accidentally over commit.

What is a JSA?

Why, sir, that is no other than the Justice Society of America, a hardy team of heroes who battled the nefarious schemes of evil before that upstart JLA (Justice League of America, a decidely derivative name) decided to get into the biz.

It was composed of such mighty marvels as Wildcat and Power Girl and...

Cleavage window... Love

...

I'm sorry, I got distracted. What was I talking about?

Wink Big smile

Unfortunately, Comic book

Unfortunately, Comic book super hero genre is prolly one of my least faves, and Im loaded up to about my limit., but good luck with it. I'm sure it'll rock.
