The Watch - Structure

As The Watch is an arm of Interpol, it follows a similar structure.
The Watch General Secretariat (WGS) in Lyons, France, is it's head office. Over 200 staff work there. WGS relays and collates information between the National Central Watch Bureau in each country. Where possible, the Watch separate their facilities from Interpol's National Central Bureau in a country. This means there is some duplication in terms of admin staff but the specialist nature of the crimes being investigated. In some of the smaller NCBs, personnel may work for both Interpol and the Watch, dividing their investigating time between standard and Watch cases. Each NCWB will maintain facilities appropriate to the manner of crimes under investigation, along with a "War Room" for co-ordinating activity on the highest priority case(s) of the moment.
