So...anyone doing it this year?

I think I'm going to (after hemming and hawing over it the last three years.) Got an idea I think I can get 50,000 words out of....gonna spend some time this weekend plotting it out, possibly trying the snowflake method.

It's in the JPAT universe, so I may post it here when it's done.

I plan on doing it again this year. As soon as they are available I'll post the widget here again like we have for the past couple of years.

I've decided to not do the actual, official NaNoWriMo thing this year. Instead, I'm going to apply that same word count discipline to Next Gen. I have a bigass alien invasion arc to work on for JPAT, I want to get into that TCQ goodness, and I'm hoping to post something for Mystery Ape (Who dat? I'm not at liberty to say)

I'll be doing it again of

I'll be doing it again of course.  I'm just hoping to have my home server set up before Nov. so that I can do it at night after the house has gone to sleep.

I'm already freaking out.

I'm already freaking out. Got 1700 words done yesterday, which is good...but...it took over three hours. And I'm suddenly not sure I actually have the time.

You're just building momentum. No worries.

Did about 1800 words in two hours yesterday. Feeling relieved. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...

Don't ask me that. I'm always behind the first few days so you'll give me a complex. Smile

Fail

Started off okay, but I'm only at about 10,000 words and I've less time now than when I started. I'll enter what I have and keep plugging away on the off-chance I can catch up...

 Okay, I'm doing the Gray

Okay, I'm doing the Gray Invasion story line over at Justice Patrol as my NaNoWriMo project. I've added up my word count and I only need to write 13000 words over each of the next three days to make my 50k target.

I'm not going to kick myself too hard. By the time I finish the story arc I probably will have around 50000 words.

I really am glad it's over

I really am glad it's over this year. I discovered 3/4 of the way through I was telling the story from the wrong character's perspective and that was why I was having such a hard time writing it. I almost didn't finish this year.
